This includes assisting entrepreneurs and communities with market research, business plan development, financial forecasting, small business loan acquisition, community economic development, economic development training, and much more.

Our mission is: Within the circle of economic and community development we help individuals pursue their dreams, strengthening lives, communities, and society.

The Indigenous Women’s Entrepreneurship (IWE) Program seeks to reduce barriers that Indigenous women face when starting or growing their businesses and ensure that they have access to the training, resources, and capital they need to prosper and thrive.

Our Services

01.

Business Development

The Aboriginal Business Development Centre can assist entrepreneurs in all stages of their business development including completing market research, writing a business plan, registering the business, acquiring financing, hiring staff, and more. We can also assist with business growth and expansions, as well as business acquisitions.

02.

Financial Literacy

We aim to improve Financial Literacy in the community by hosting FREE Financial Literacy workshops for various groups and individuals. Workshops are interactive and conversation-based and cover topics such as banking, money management, saving, borrowing money, debt, and credit.

03.

Community Development

The Aboriginal Business Development Centre works with Aboriginal communities in order to increase capacity and assist them to achieve their goals. This support can take many forms and may include: workshop development and hosting, provision of resources, participation on committees or Board of Directors when invited, and the facilitation of potentially useful connections between individuals and groups.

The services you have provided to us in the past is why I continue to revisit your office, website and social media pages. I continue to refer many clients to the Aboriginal Business Development Office.
